APPRAISER COMMENTS:

This is a vintage clock in excellent condition. The maker is Elmer
O. Stennes of Weymouth, Massachusetts. Stennes made a lot of 60” clocks
and referred to them as “grandmother” clocks. This model was made in
the mid-1960s. It is one of the most popular models ever made by
Stennes. Note that due to that popularity, this model often brings
considerably more money at auction than the appraised value. Based on
comparative data for other clocks of this model recently sold, and
considering the similarities and differences for the condition, size,
artistic merit, and age, we have valued the subject clock as follows:

Item/Title: Granddaughter clock I believe. Not as big as a grandfather/grandmother clock

Condition: excellent was running 10 years ago have not "wound" it for awhile

Dimensions (HxWxD): 60" high 12" wide 8" deep maybe 20 – 25 lbs
Inscription: yes a number 15 stamped on
the inside front door (picture attached) "Elmer O. Stennes" &
"Weeymouth Mass" burned into inside front door and painted on clock face
(picture attached)
History/Provenance: Father bought for mother around 1965. Both have died. I am the son. Have no ide where Dad bought it or how much.
