The Nugent Appraisal family firm, in business since 1976, has experienced Dade Jewelry appraisers to meet your valuation needs. Our certified jewelry appraisal reports meet the highest industry standard as required by Insurers, Government Agencies, and the Courts. Dade Professionals and their referred clients, Insurers, families, and individuals have trusted the Nugent Appraisal onsite appraisal service of Jewelry, Fine Art, Collectibles, and General Residential Contents for almost four decades.
USPAP is an acronym for Uniform Standard of Professional Appraisal Practice. This is the industry standard your report is required to meet in order to be accepted for official purposes. Many Jewelry retailers/dealers most certainly have the knowledge to provide an accurate opinion of value. However, if their opinion is not in the form of a USPAP certified report then it just that – a value opinion. We are not jewelry dealers or retailers. We have no personal interest in your jewelry. Our service is quite simply to produce independent, certified appraisal reports that are used for:
It is an unnecessary risk and inconvenience for you to travel with your valuable jewelry items to a jewelry store. We perform the same jewelry examination with the same portable Gemology equipment in the privacy and security of your residence, business, office, or banking facility. The Nugent Appraisal family firm and its accredited team of Dade jewelry appraisers are insured and bonded with general liability insurance and professional liability insurance policies. We have a fiduciary responsibility to you, our client. All conversations, emails, work notes, item images, and the certified report are strictly confidential. The information is only released to you, your authorized representative, or by Court Order.
Our accredited Dade Jewelry Appraisers are experienced in certifying the value of all categories of jewelry items and accessories including:
We can typically schedule an onsite appraisal examination within days of your request. The USPAP compliant, certified appraisal report will describe each piece/set in the detail required by industry standards and present close-up detailed, color images. The independent, certified report is delivered by email attachment in a digitally signed, secure universal PDF format. The full report can be printed from a desktop printer or emailed securely to your intended user. Our reports are typically completed in 7-10 days of the appraisal examination.
